Here’s what members who joined other on-line style challenges had to say about this group:
“Huge thanks Lindsay, Feeling much better about myself, out of the rut! Plus going to budget for nice essentials rather than impulse buy trends that I regret purchasing! I’ve actually listed an old Boden top on eBay, so I may even make some money! Had no idea I had romantic tendencies but I’m enjoying using it to spark up the natural classic. I’m now much better at having a smaller wardrobe & making more outfits.
“I am no longer keeping smarter clothes for ‘best’ or categorising clothes as home or work etc. I am working to ensure my clothes will work for all occasions to give me more ££ per wear. I started this challenge thinking it was a problem that I living in skinny jeans (i have many colours) but I have learnt to embrace these as they are my preferred style. In trying to veer away from my usual style and buy flouncy dresses & skirts is where I was actually going wrong as they aren’t my classic style and never felt right. With my streamlined wardrobe I feel much confident that everything I have kept is there because it suits me and will go together. I am much more confident to dress ‘up’ a little more rather than just wearing an ‘it will do’ mum look. It’s nice to look well put together!
“What a lovely group, it’s been so encouraging!
“Nooo ..can’t believe we are at the end!
I’ve loved the challenge – some days took me outside my comfort zone…but it was so needed….I couldn’t have done this without having my session with Lindsay beforehand which really was the start of this journey …and the support and feedback of this group has been amazing ..Thanks one and all …looking forward to Q and A tonight ….I’m so going to enjoy going shopping from now on .” Celia, Dorset
“In Lockdown, I joined in a virtual 30 Day Style Challenge with Lindsay Punch. I was actually a bit sceptical. I didn’t think I’d react well to anyone telling me how to dress for my shape etc… but we were in lockdown, I appreciated that I needed something for ‘me’ AND I was feeling in a bit of a ‘style funk’.
I’m definitely joining in again. And I wholeheartedly recommend it to you too!!!” Kim, Oxfordshire.
“I think my biggest learning from this challenge has been to understand that my style is classic and not boring. Being classic makes me feel stylish, feminine and well presented – the best version of myself.
I’ve been educated and supported by all of
“I’ve really enjoyed the whole experience, what a nice bunch of ladies! The feedback has been really helpful rather than the odd hmm, ahh from my husbsnd! Thankyou Lindsay for all your advice and encouragement. I’ll see you all at the next one.” Michelle, Dorset
“I have done a few challenges before but think I have enjoyed this one the most!
I didn’t quite know what to expect, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.
It has made me look at my wardrobe and outfits from a completely new perspective. The support from the other ladies in the group and Lindsays tips and advice were fantastic. It represents amazing value for money, so I will definitely be doing another one in the future” Dawn, Dorset
“The comparison between my Day 1 and Day 30 photos is amazing to me. I never imagined when I joined the challenge that I would get so caught up in it – in such a good way!
“I’ve really enjoyed the challenge. Most days – it’s been the only ‘me’ time I’ve had and I always felt better for it. I started the challenge wanting to go for crisper brighter outfits- and I’m on the way with this! I’m accepting and enjoying what seems to be my signature style and planning to embrace it! I feel I have a clearer idea of where I can add interest and variety to outfits now and I’m determined to enjoy wearing clothes that make me feel good and not worry about what other people may think!
I’ve loved seeing all the outfits, support, tips and encouragement- thank you all Lindsay- thank you for all your help- again! You’ve managed to create a lovely supportive atmosphere and I’m so pleased I participated! Xx” Iona, Hampshire
“I cant believe we’ve reached the end. It’s been amazing.
I think the biggest refinement for me has been finding my signature style. I think I’m still a work in progress on that front, but it has helped me finally cull so much that wasn’t really working for me as I have a much clearer picture of the look I want to achieve.
I think I’ve started on that journey, there’s still a way to go & I would sign up to do this again in a heartbeat.
I feel much less overwhelmed by my wardrobe now, it’s so cathartic to finally let things go.
Finally, I’d like to say a big thank you to you all. Firstly to Lindsay for running this challenge. The advice given has been clear, concise & invaluable. It’s also been a real tonic during what can be a difficult time in lockdown, I’m going to really miss it. And secondly to all you lovely ladies. Your comments and posts have been so encouraging. I’ve really enjoyed seeing all your outfits, and have even made a couple of purchases off the back of them… imitation is the sincerest form of flattery! I It’s been great to be able to ask for feedback too. I hope to “meet” you all again in a future challenge and wish you all good health.” Lorna, London
